My Parents were members of the First Baptist Church, Dallas prior to my birth in 1928. As a child I remember the sermons of Dr. George W. Truett. I was very active in Sunday School, Church activities with Ms. Bertha and parents’ day activities. During this early period in my life I was taught how to believe in God for all my needs. This faith I carried with me into the service and became very active in the First Baptist Church of Atlanta, Georgia. After the service I returned to the First Baptist Church, Dallas and met my wife, who was member of the First Baptist Church. I give all my thanks to everyone who helped me at the church during my childhood training.
